The Audition coordinator will answer your questions, schedule an appointment and give you directions to where your audition will be held.

During the audition, music director Steven Edwards will evaluate your vocal range and quality, pitch memory, and music-reading skills. The ability to read music is required. Singers should prepare an aria, art song, or show tune. An accompanist will be provided.

Prospective singers should fill out the New Singer Information form and prepare the following excerpt from Handel's Messiah, "And He shall purify." Bring the filled-out form and the Messiah excerpt to the audition.

By the way, both the New Singer Info form and the excerpt from Messiah are in Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need a PDF viewer in order to open them. Mac users can use Preview, which comes with Mac OS X. Windows users can download the free Adobe Acrobat PDF Viewer from the Adobe web site.
